Anomaly Detection

Reflect has had an Insights feature since its release on the App Store but, until now, these insights have been limited to correlations between metrics. With the release of Anomaly Detection, you will now be alerted to unusual patterns in your data.

Anomalies in your data are reported daily, and you can view them by going to the Insights page, going to the sidebar in the top left, and tapping Anomalies. There you will find a summary of anomalies detected yesterday and in days prior.

Reflect also has a new Watched Metrics feature. When you watch a metric, any anomalies detected will have an eye on the anomaly card. Additionally, watched metrics will appear first in your weekly and monthly reports.

When you tap an anomaly card, you will be taken to a page that shows in detail what days were outside of your normal ranges, as well as the detection method used. Reflect supports multiple anomaly detection methods, each explained below the anomaly chart.
